The SADP (Search Active Devices Protocol) software is used for searching online devices within the same network.
- Viewing Device Information: SADP allows you to see details about the connected devices, such as their model, IP address, and firmware version.
- Device Activation: You can activate a device using SADP, which is useful when setting up new devices or troubleshooting existing ones.
- Editing Network Parameters: SADP enables you to modify network settings for devices. This includes adjusting IP addresses, subnet masks, gateways, and DNS servers.
- Resetting Device Passwords: If you forget a device’s password, SADP allows you to reset it.
The latest version of SADP is V3.1.2.3, released on April 2, 20241. Keep an eye out for any additional features or improvements in future updates!
